Colleen Kroell
Chief Accounting Officer
Colleen has over 27 years of experience in accounting, 21 of which are in the real estate industry. As the Controller of Midwest Properties, Colleen is responsible for all the Accounting, Treasury Management, Human Resource and Technology functions.
She manages the Accounting personnel and oversees the production of accurate financial statements along with debt and treasury services. She is involved in strategic tax planning with ownership and coordinates the reporting of acquisitions, sales, and borrowing transactions with outside tax Accountants. She implements Accounting Systems and is responsible for the internal control of those systems. Colleen is also in charge of all aspects of Human Resources including payroll and health care benefits. She handles the procurement, installation, and maintenance of personal computers.
Colleen holds a Bachelor’s degree from Northern Kentucky University and is a Certified Public Accountant.
