Colleen Kroell
Chief Accounting Officer
Colleen Kroell brings vast experience in both the commercial and residential real estate sectors. As the Chief Accounting Officer of Midwest Properties, she oversees Accounting, Treasury Management, Human Resources, and Technology functions. Colleen leads the accounting team, ensuring the production of accurate financial statements, along with managing debt and treasury services.
In addition to financial oversight, she plays a key role in strategic tax planning with ownership, managing the recording and reporting of acquisitions, sales, and borrowing transactions to external tax accountants. Colleen leads the implementation, maintenance, and internal controls of the company’s accounting systems and other software applications.
She is also responsible for all aspects of Human Resources, including payroll and healthcare benefits, as well as overseeing the procurement, installation, and maintenance of company technology.
Colleen holds a Bachelor’s degree from Northern Kentucky University and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
